I would like to nominate my sister Laura. Her passion for teaching is only mirrored for her passion for life. Although she has only been teaching for 4 years she has already stepped up to become the math department head, volleyball and softball coach. She truly is making a difference in her kids lives with her innovative teaching style (she does "math raps" which teaches her kids concepts set to a beat! They love it), no-nonsense attitude and genuine interest in seeing her kids succeed.
