First Week Thoughts

For most of my life, working out, was not a thing. Like, why would I go sweat on purpose?   I mean, I danced for many years, I was in colorgaurd, parade band, majorettes, cheerleading…  but that wasn\’t \”working out\”.  That was FUN. 

And then I grew up. I got busy, I got tired, and honestly, I got FAT.  Now, I know what you\’re going to say, \” No Sarah, don\’t talk to yourself that way… You\’re fine the way you are… \”     But let\’s face it. If we\’re not comfortable in our own skin, no one can tell us other wise.  I had a series of leg injuries, got hit by a car, fractured my spine… all these things add up to not moving.  

Before the spine injury, I had found a new love in being in the gym 6 days a week. The burn was REAL. Then my father passed away, I was out of town. my trainer was no longer at the gym, I was out of my routine and eventually, out of drive. 

And I let that fester. No excuses here. There\’s reasons I stopped. None of them are any good. 

I WAS limited in what I could do for a while, and still am.  That doesn\’t mean I can\’t do other things.

So, we\’ll keep this going… Because I want my body back.
